METAL!!!!

Which metal (heavy, thrash ect) do you prefer

None? Metal sounds like people bashing bin lids and cats being strangled.

Well, I like some metal, but I don't know what type metal it is.. ^^; (Iron Maiden, Metallica)

(Black Sabith, Motley Crue)

Metallica is thrash metal, but mabe you rather hair metal (early Bon jovi, Poison, Van halen)
(and yes i am bringing Queen into anothe conversation) Queen also has some heavy songs such as:
Tie Your Mother Down, Breakthru, Scandal, Sheer Heart Attack (the song not the album), All Dead All Dead, I Want It All, amd any thing from their first album!!!!

hard rock is ok.....but metal.......i don't really like...........

the ones i have considered worth listening for the people who like metal would be........Opeth, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Limp Bizkit(don't really know if they are metal really...they are pretty good though), Kalmah, and the civilian project and a little of megadeth

What hard rock do you listen to?

quite a few........but MCR(my chemical romance) is one of my favourite all time band

MCR aren't really hard rock though. Good though. This summer will be my 4th time seeing them.

Iron Maiden are good too, but in other ways. Like, I wouldn't consider buying one of their CDs but I'd go see 'em.

really ........they sounded more like a lighter version of hard rock like somewhere between hard rock and simple rock

and now i must kill u..coz i'm jealous.........i've never been to any of their concerts ...

It's not too far to get to anywhere in this country, and there are a lot of festivals bands like that play at. So a lot of the summer you can just go down places for the day to see bands. Kinda cool.

Missed Muse this weekend. Looked one of the most awesome things ever- Muse, with My Chemical Romance and Biffy Clyro supporting. >.<
Tickets were about £40 (which is about $80USD) though.

i grew up with a metal head, my mom listens to stuff that would make alot of you people pee your pants!!!!!!!

There is alot of heavy Queen music (see queen the album) you just dont hear it. and i do like heavy stuff: Ozzy Osborne, Metalica, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, and some of the new (supremely watered down) music that resembles Metal

oh wait i just remembered what heavy band i most like............SYSTEM OF A DOWN!!!!!!.............also i din't know aerosmith was really heavy.....they sounded kinda like simple rock

To be honest, you probably have equally wierd bands over there. Like Gogol Bordello!

Hmmm i think there was this one called bahaus or smthin ...And another one "the chemical brothers"(which sounded like a copy of mcr >.<)...And another called "the human league"(seriously wtf???)...And bush...And elastica...And i think there was a one called "portishead"(that is just plain weird)

and i don't even know what a gogel bordello is :S...Its probably one of the less popular bands :S
